How Can We Help?

๐Ÿซ Boost Academic Performance:

Is your child finding it difficult to concentrate, organize their thoughts, or manage their time effectively? Our team specializes in working with young minds, identifying any underlying learning difficulties, attention issues, or emotional barriers that may hinder their academic progress. Through personalized treatment plans that may include medication or therapy, we help your child develop essential skills, improve focus, and enhance their learning abilities, paving the way for academic success. We offer psychological and academic testing that can open doors to classroom and testing accommodations, which can set your child on an even playing field with their peers.

๐Ÿค Nurture Social Skills to Make Close Friends:

Does your child struggle with making friends, maintaining relationships, managing conflicts, or expressing themselves effectively? Are they having trouble navigating the social systems where they once thrived pre-pandemic? Our caring professionals provide a supportive environment where your child can explore their social challenges. Through individual or group therapy, we guide them in developing vital social skills, such as communication, empathy, and problem-solving. By empowering them to navigate social interactions confidently, we set the stage for lifelong friendships and positive social experiences.

๐Ÿ’– Help Your Child Feel Good:

Are you concerned about your child’s emotional well-being? We specialize in addressing a range of emotional challenges, including anxiety, depression, mood swings, stress, and self-esteem issues. Through evidence-based techniques, like Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, mindfulness, and play therapy, we help children and adolescents develop healthy coping mechanisms, build resilience, and manage their emotions effectively. Our goal is to enable your child to navigate life’s ups and downs with strength and confidence.

๐Ÿ‘ช Bond With Your Child:

Family plays a vital role in a child’s growth and development. We work closely with parents and caregivers, providing guidance, education, and support throughout the treatment process. Our collaborative approach ensures that the progress made during treatment extends into your child’s daily life, reinforcing positive changes, reducing conflict, and strengthening family bonds.

๐ŸŒˆ Watch Your Child Reach Their Full Potential:

Don’t let your child’s struggles hold them back from reaching their full potential. With the help of our dedicated team, your child can overcome obstacles, thrive academically, build meaningful relationships, and develop a strong sense of self.

At Atlas Psychiatry, you can trust that we will take the time to understand your concerns, make the correct diagnosis, and provide you with effective care. We understand the importance of scheduling your appointments easily, seeing your doctor or therapist quickly, and managing your medication and refills efficiently. Our offices are comfortable and private, and we are also available for telehealth visits. Our support staff are warm and responsive, and convenient online scheduling is available. We are here to provide as much or as little attention as you need, and we care about getting it right.

We know that it can be daunting finding the right help. Rest assured, that we have an onboarding process to get you and your child to the right clinician. In our experience, parents often find themselves in one of five situations:

1) Your child has a behavioral or emotional issue, but itโ€™s not clear what it is,

2) your child needs medication,

3) your child needs medication and therapy,

4) your child needs psychotherapy or counseling only,

5) your child needs psychological or academic testing.

In situations 1, 2, and 3, we direct parents to first meet with one of our psychiatrists, Dr. Lauren Larose or Dr. Ashifur Rahman, who will clarify their childโ€™s diagnosis and develop a personalized treatment plan.

In situation 4, we schedule the initial meeting with one of our therapists, Katherine Aucoin PhD, Kelly Anderson DSW, Danielle Wright DSW or Annie Bachrach LCSW, who will collaboratively set goals for treatment.

In situation 5, we schedule the initial meeting with one of our psychologists, Laura Niditch PhD, Katherine Aucoin PhD, or Alexandra Sims PhD, who will determine what testing needs to be completed and make treatment recommendations at the conclusion of testing.

Contact us today to schedule a consultation and embark on a journey towards your child’s brighter future. Together, we’ll unlock their true potential and pave the way for a successful, fulfilling life.ย Our aim is to get your child feeling all the way well. This results in better relationships, self-esteem, and school performance.
