Hunt for over 18,000 eggs hidden throughout NOMA’s world-renowned Sydney and Walda Besthoff Sculpture Garden during the annual NOMA Egg Hunt and Family Festival Presented by Hancock Whitney. The event returns on Saturday, March 23, from 10 am to 1 pm.
A fun all-ages event, the festival features arts & crafts, games, face painting, and music—and beverages for the parents! The egg hunts for ages 4 and under and ages 5 and up begin at 10:45 am.
Advanced tickets are $15 for museum members and $20 for the general public. Free admission for children under two years old.
Organized by NOMA Egg Hunt Chairs Holly Poole and Caroline Wolfe with NOMA Volunteer Committee Chair Tully Forrester Jordan, the event supports NOMA’s education and exhibition initiatives.
For many families, the Egg Hunt is their first introduction to the New Orleans Museum of Art and the Besthoff Sculpture Garden. Featuring nearly 100 sculptures from the 19th century to present day, NOMA’s Besthoff Sculpture Garden offers the opportunity to see these important works of art set within the unique, picturesque Louisiana landscape.
