Easter & Spring Break Camps in New Orleans

Art Time Easter Camps: All students will have fun drawing from a real live model (Bouncey the Chick), and will get to take home their own Bouncey after the class, as well as their artwork! There will be class times for K – 3rd, and 3rd – 6th on March 31st and April 7th.

Lolo’s Studio Spring Break Camp: Monday – Friday, March 30th – April 3rd and April 6th – April 10th, 9 am-3 pm, ages 5-7 and 8+. Catch a break while your kids enjoy a day of fun and calm while you do you. At Lolo’s Camps, kids of all ages get to let their crazy out, find their calm, create inspired art, and strike a pose. (And no electronics!)

Junction Place Sportsplex Schools Out All Sports Camp: March 30 – April 3rd and April 6th – April 10th (Half-day options available). This is the perfect camp for boys and girls who enjoy movement, or who need a little motivation to get moving! Housed indoors at Junction Place Sportsplex. Ages 5-11

JCC Spring Break Camp: Metairie Mini Camp and Uptown Mini Camp. April 6th -10th. 8:30 am – 3:30 pm. (Half-day options available) When school is out, the JCC is in! Join us for a camp-style day at the J. Our staff will guide participants through an active day filled with group activities, creative arts, athletic games, and more. Bring a bagged lunch and wear closed-toe shoes so you can take part in all of the fun. No money or electronics, please.

Jefferson Parks and Recreation Department: April 6th-April 7th | 7:30 am-5:30 pm for ages 4-13 at Cleary Playground. At our Spring Break Camp, our campers will enjoy arts and crafts, sports, games, and special events.

Madisonville Equestrian Center Easter Horse Camp: March 30th – April 3rd from 9 am – 2 pm. Before and after care options are available from 7:30 am – 5 pm. The camp is available to ages 4 and up and no experience is necessary. Camp includes English-style riding, games on horseback, hands-on involvement and instruction, grooming techniques, and instructions on how to properly care for a horse. 

Ninja Obstacle Lifting Academy – April 3rd – 10th from 9 am – 3 pm. (Half-day option available) Ninjas must be 6-12 years old and bring their lunch and a snack. This camp has tons of physical activities. Daily rates are $55, a half-day option is $40, and the weekly price is $165.

Culinary KidsMarch 30th – April 6th from 9 am – 3 pm. Extended care is available from 8 am – 5 pm. Kids ages 5-12 years old get to make their own breakfast, lunch, and snacks and will have a blast with MESSY kitchen science experiments, arts and crafts, games, and indoor and outdoor time in our play yards with our resident chickens and pot-bellied pig! Camp is $80 plus tax daily and includes all ingredients, meals, drinks, snacks, and supplies.

New Orleans Academy of Fine Arts Holiday Art Camp: April 6th – 10th. Join us at the Academy for our Spring Break Holiday Camp! Keep your kids engaged with art during their break from school in this exciting camp experience led by Summer Camp Director Mr. Pete. Local artisans and experienced youth arts educators make up our impressive faculty. Sign up now as space is limited. The camp schedule is Monday – Friday from 9 am to 3:30 pm. Snacks and drinks are provided by the camp, but campers should bring their own lunch and water bottle daily.

Crescent City Ninja Academy CampApril 6th – April 10th, from 9 am – 3 pm. Before and after care is available from 8 am – 4 pm. Campers should wear comfortable clothing and tennis shoes to practice their ninja skills. All campers need to bring their own lunch. a few snacks, and a refillable water bottle. Extra snacks and drinks will be for sale as well. Registration is $175 weekly or $50 daily. Members receive a discount, and there are no refunds. Ninja camp is for kids ages 6 – 12 years old. 

Camp Northlake: March 30th – April 3rd from 8 am – 3:30 pm. Camp Northlake is a nondenominational Christian day-camp for students in Kindergarten – 6th grade, offering a 9-week summer camp, enrichment camps, and seasonal holiday camps to our community. Extended care is available. 

Covington Karate LLC: March 30th – April 3rd from 8 am – 4 pm. Your camper can enjoy indoor and outdoor activities at Covington Karate’s Kids Spring Camp! This camp is for kids ages 4-12 years old. 

Audubon Zoo: April 6th – April 10th from 9 am – 3 pm. (extended care options available) Let your child go wild this year at Audubon Zoo’s School Break Camps! Campers will enjoy the Zoo as their playground as they discover the wonders of nature through animal-themed games, hands-on activities, and exploration of our Zoo habitats. Camp is for children in Kindergarten through 4th grade.

Devan was born and raised in Kenner, attended Archbishop Chapelle High School, and works at Tulane University.     I’d love to add an Easter Egg Hunt event to the Easter list. Symmetry Jewelers is co-sponsoring a community Easter egg hunt on Saturday, April 9th on the lakefront at Shelter 4. Tickets are available at neworleanseasteregghunt.com
