Where to See the Easter Bunny in New Orleans

Lakeside Mall: Easter Bunny Photos located adjacent to the Apple in Center Court from March 19th until April 16th. Easter Bunny Photos are available Monday-Saturday, 10 am-7 pm, and Sunday, Noon-6 pm (daily breaks from 3-4 pm).

Easter Egg Hunts

Easter Bunny Arrival Celebration at Lakeside Mall: March 19, 2022. Join Lakeside as they welcome the Easter Bunny and all of his friends. The celebration will start with an Easter Egg Hun near Veterans Skylight at 9:00 am. There will also be a parade, photos with the Easter Bunny, a train ride, and food. Tickets are $25 for a family of 5; children 1 year old and younger are free.

Easter Egg Hunt at Rosedown Plantation State Historic Site: April 2, 2022 at 2:00 pm. Children can come to Rosedown and find Easter eggs on the grounds. After the Easter egg hunt children can play 19th-century games.

Eggstravaganza at Metairie Baptist Church: April 9, 2022 from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm. This festival-style Easter event will include free candy, snacks, games, crafts, and an Easter Egg Hunt with over 7,000 eggs!

Easter Eggstravaganza hosted by NORD: April 9, 2022 from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm. This egg hunt is located at the Lafitte Greenway, Joe W. Brown Park, and Morris F.X. Jeff Recreational Complex. There will be bounce houses, sack races, and more. Free admission and open to all.

Bunny Hop at the Venice Marina: April 9, 2022 from 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm. Free for all kids. Photos with the Easter Bunny, Easter egg hunt, games, and more.

New Orleans Easter Egg Hunt: April 9, 2022 from 10:30 am – 2:00 pm. Free to the public, located at Shelter #3 on the Lakefront.

Easter Egg Hunt hosted by First Baptist New Orleans: April 10, 2022 from 4:30 pm – 6:00 pm.

NOLA Kidsground Egg Hunt & Play: Eggs-clusively for ages 5 and under. $20/child. Limited tickets are available for 1-hour time slots. Advanced reservations required

NOMA Egg Hunt and Family Festival: April 9, 2022. The NOMA Egg Hunt and Family Festival is a fun and festive event for families featuring arts & crafts, games, face painting, a petting zoo, food, drinks, sweets, music, and more. Tickets are $15 through April 8th for adults and children, $10 for NOMA members. All tickets are $18 the day of the event. Free admission for children ages 2 and under.

Twilight Eggstravaganza Egg Hunt hosted by Pelican Park in Mandeville: April 9, 2022. Grab flashlights and Easter baskets and sign up for Pelican Park’s 6th annual Twilight Eggstravaganza Egg Hunt. The event is open to children ages 1 to 12 years old, with four age-appropriate hunts planned between dusk and dark. The event also includes other games and activities. Price is free, but you must reserve your spot in advance.

Easter Egg Hunt at Bogue Chitto State Park: April 16, 2022 from 9:30-10:30am. Join the Interpretive Ranger for the annual Easter Egg Hunt; games and prizes after the egg hunt.

Easter Egg Hunt at Fontainebleau State Park: April 9, 2022 at 10:00 am.

City Park Egg Scramble: April 9 & 10, 2022. Over 36,000 eggs are scattered throughout Carousel Gardens and include an egg hunt, face painting, music, and a visit from the Easter Bunny. The event is 9:00 am-Noon. Tickets are $10, $5 for Friends of City Park members.

Angels Grove Easter Egg Hunt: April 23, 2022 from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm. Tickets are $10; kids under two are free. Painting eggs and pony/horse rides for an additional cost.

Easter Parades

The Annual New Orleans Gay Easter Parade: April 17, 2022. The parade begins at 4:30 pm in the French Quarter. The parade showcases the fashion and creativity of the entire LGBT community with gentlemen in summer suits/ tux with hats, and ladies in Easter suits/dresses with Easter hats.

Chris Owens French Quarter Easter Parade: April 17, 2022, starting at 1:00 pm, beginning and ending at the Omni Hotel.

Easter Brunches/Teas/Parties

Spring Fest at Longue Vue Gardens: April 9, 2022. Celebrate Spring with the Longue Vue Gardens team! flower-focused crafts and games, live music, and a special appearance by the Easter Bunny.

Steamboat Natchez Brunch Cruise: April 17, 2022. Bring your children of all ages to meet the Easter Bunny aboard the Steamboat Natchez Brunch Cruise.

Muriel’s Easter Brunch: April 17, 2022. Entree price includes choice of appetizers, entree & dessert.

The Roosevelt Easter Brunch: April 17, 2022. Celebrate Easter in an air of elegance in New Orleans’ grandest ballroom! Pricing is $99 for ages 13 and up, $45 for ages 3 to 12, and complimentary for children 2 and under. Brunch hours are 10:00 am – 2:30 pm.

Easter EGGStravaganza: April 2nd, 3rd, 9th, and 10th. Tickets are $20 per person (CASH ONLY at the gate); kids under 12 months free. Hosted by Zoo2U. Petting zoo, pony rides, inflatables, face painting, and games for kids. Pictures with the Easter Bunny.

    I’d love to add an Easter Egg Hunt event to the Easter list. Symmetry Jewelers is co-sponsoring a community Easter egg hunt on Saturday, April 9th on the lakefront at Shelter 4. Tickets are available at neworleanseasteregghunt.com
