Disclosure :: This post is sponsored by the Louisiana Children’s Museum.
Once a year, the Museum opens its big blue doors for CHAIRish the Children, presented by Capital One Bank. This festive fundraiser invites grown-ups to be kids again. This year the event will take place on Saturday, August 22, 2015. The evening will be a night you do not want to miss full of delicious food and spirits, exciting silent and live auctions, entertainment, and more!
August 2015 marks the 10-year anniversary of Hurricane Katrina. This year’s CHAIRish the Children theme, Silver Linings, acknowledges the ways in which the revitalization of the region has given our children more opportunities to grow into their full potential. LCM will recognize Silver Linings Honorees who have made a positive impact on the lives of young children in our community since the storm.
