Wind Down at Metairie’s Newest Rooftop Wine Bar {Opening Mid-October}

New Orleans Mom loves to share tips on the best places to eat (and drink) in New Orleans. We are so excited that a new wine bar is coming to Old Metairie, as we first shared in June 2022. We were lucky enough to attend a preview party for this new wine bar in New Orleans and are excited it is opening in mid-October! If you love getting out in New Orleans, we highly suggest enjoying a date night at N7 or a leisurely meal with friends at Cafe Degas.

Wine Bar Is Coming to Old Metairie {Mid-October}

Get ready for some fun nights out at the latest proposed wine bar construction in Oldold metairie wine bar Metairie, which is now – as of mid-October 2022 – a reality. GOAT Architecture announced plans for a new rooftop wine bar in a corner of Old Metairie overlooking Metairie Road called Parish Line Bistro. Since then, we’ve all been eagerly waiting for it to open! This sophisticated restaurant and wine bar is set with a railroad design due to the area’s heavy influence on steel and railroad ties to the area. Not to mention, the proximity of the location to the railroad tracks. Parish Line is located at 601 Metairie Road, and the interior and decor do not disappoint! The only downside to note is that parking is tricky.

Look for a cool new place to grab a drink with friends or a date night. Nothing like this currently exists in Metairie. Centrally located, this swanky new restaurant and bar will give young professionals who live in Metairie, Kenner, or Lakeview a new place to check out without having to travel Uptown for the upscale restaurant/bar experience.

With the expected wide variety of wine selections, there will be a wine favorite for everyone. With good wine, the restaurant is expected to have refined foods that pair perfectly with a nice glass of wine (or Mega Pint of Wine).

Patrons will be able to have the choice of indoor or outdoor seating at the restaurant and outdoor seating on the rooftop wine bar. Enjoy a nice glass of Pinot on the rooftop while enjoying the outdoor weather overlooking historic Metairie Road and the railway. This location would be ideal to have a mom’s night out with you and your girls ordering different wines and creating a mini wine tasting without having to travel to Napa or Fredericksburgrooftop wine bars in New Orleans (although I also recommend doing those 😉 or a romantic date night with Hubby.

Cheers to wine and Old Metairie! We strongly suggest making plans to visit Parish Line on your next evening out; it is guaranteed to be New Orleans’ next hot spot!
