During Mardi Gras, you’ll find her :: On St. Charles enjoying the view and food.
During Saints games, you’ll find her :: wearing black and gold, but not actually watching the game! Love the Saints, but much less love for sports.
Kids at Jazz Fest? So many memories of my childhood and creating those same memories with the girls. They will at least go a couple of times in their life.
Raising Kids in New Orleans is :: like sharing culture and life, while thinking that the rest of the world is missing out on the party. There is no place like home, and they will learn that on every corner of the city.

During Mardi Gras, you’ll find her :: Preferably on St Charles set up with friends and family for an all day affair but sometimes in Metairie with the family for the convenience of walking to the parade
During Saints games, you’ll find her :: Pre-kids – always in the dome, now with kids splitting time home watching the game or in the dome when Granny babysits. Dreaming of the day it’s a full family event!
Kids at Jazz Fest? Naaaa, not with the kids so little. When they are older, yes of course!
Raising Kids in New Orleans is :: Wouldn’t have it any other way. So many unique experiences to explore with them. I love reliving some of my favorite childhood memories with them!

During Mardi Gras, you’ll find her: on Carrollton, St. Charles or Uptown dancing to bands, visiting with family and friends, or catching beads off floats probably with a kiddo strapped to my shoulders and a beer in my hand!
During the Saints games, you’ll find her: watching the game with her dad! Sometimes at home, sometimes in the dome…not too many we’ve missed together over the past few decades.
Kids at Jazz Fest? My kiddo and I love jamming out to some tunes! I would love to experience it with him now that he’s older. I have great memories attending with my dad when I was younger.
Raising kids in New Orleans is: I love making memories with my son at the same places I did growing up. We’ve lived in Mandeville for the past 30 years, but our south shore roots run deep. There truly is no place like New Orleans, so being able to share the culture, character and heart the city has taught me with my son is really special.

Kids at Jazz Fest? We aren’t festers unless it’s French quarter fest and I can’t eat at all the restaurants’ booths!
