The Best Girls’ Leggings Money Can Buy {For Less Than $20}

If your daughters are anything like mine, they LIVE for athletic wear. There are not enough sports bras, athletic shorts, tank tops or “tennis skirts” (is that what we’re calling them these days?!) to go around. Unfortunately, if your daughters are anything like mine, theygirls' leggings with pockets also have an affinity for brands like Athleta and lululemon. Whether we like it or not, marketing works! And yes, I know all of the hacks about shopping on Poshmark or BST groups, but for used clothing even then sometimes the price is steep.

I was determined to find an affordable pair of leggings for my daughters that look and feel good but skip the ridiculous price tag. While I will admit that my girls both have some of the “real deal” in their closet, sorry but that is just not happening every time. Most kids grow way too fast and lose things way too easily, not to mention most of us are not made of money. There are close enough versions that look adorable and feel great! And if I am not wearing lululemon all day, then sorry kid but neither are you no matter how adorable it is.

Enter the “Stelle Girls’ Athletic Leggings Kids Dance Running Yoga Pants Workout Active Dance Tights with Pockets.” I ordered these on a total whim in a variety of colors. The price varies based on the color, but for less than $20 these leggings are a dream. They are soft, they have pockets, the material is high quality and my girls love them. They fit well, they look “real” (whatever that means) and they are incredibly comfortable. There are a variety of colors, including standard basics like black of course. The dark slate blue color is my own personal fave.

They fit true to size; my 10 year old daughter who is an 8 in Athleta wears the 8-10 in these and has a little bit of growing room. My 8 year old daughter who is a 6 in Athleta fits the 5-6 in these (the 7-8 are too roomy). In any case, I highly recommend them and suggest you add to cart now. They also have packs of 2-3 pairs, in case that’s your jam!

While I have NOT tried them, just so you know … Stelle makes women’s leggings, too. You’re welcome!
