MeMe’s Bar and Grille, Where You Can Eat. Drink. Repeat!!!
Hey Mamas! I’m back with another restaurant recommendation. Back in August, we went down to da parish to visit our friend Chef Doug at MeMe’s Bar & Grille during Coolinary New Orleans. I went to grammar school with Chef Doug, his mama is my real estate agent, and his aunt is one of my mama’s best friends. Because of course … it’s the South! Chef Doug has had a pretty incredible career, so I promise you will not be disappointed!
MeMe’s is located at 712 W Judge Perez Dr. in Chalmette. They are open Tuesday-Saturday for lunch 11:00-2:00, for dinner 5:00-9:00, have daily Happy Hour specials, and have daily special dinner promotions.
MeMe’s is for all ages! We had a group of 8 adults who can eat what they want without restrictions, 1 adult with lots of restrictions, 1 picky preteen boy, and 1 little prince. We all left full and with leftovers. It was delicious! Some of us enjoyed crawfish boudin eggrolls before our meals, and everyone enjoyed their chicken andouille gumbo or the soup of the day.
Most of us ate off the Coolinary menu for lunch, Mediterranean Grilled Shrimp and Korean Steak Sandwich. The fried shrimp po-boy passed the picky eater test. 😉
