Children’s Hospital New Orleans recently opened a new, expanded Northshore
Outpatient Therapy Clinic on the Northshore, doubling their capacity to offer pediatric
physical, occupational and speech and language therapy. The new 4,100 square foot clinic offers pediatric physical, occupational and speech and language therapy in a beautiful facility that features specialized gyms, therapy and treatment rooms in a kid and family-centered environment.
Children’s Hospital first opened its doors in 1955 as a rehabilitation hospital following the polio epidemic, and today is the only CARF accredited pediatric rehabilitation program in Louisiana, and one of two children’s hospitals nationally to hold its prestigious level of certification. Children’s Hospital’s ability to expand specialized services, to improve access, to offer the most advanced technology and to recruit some of the nation’s best and brightest pediatric providers ensures that children on the Northshore have access to the expert care they need.
