Five Reasons to Attend Shivers at Canal Place

The Halloween season is upon us, and it is still scorching hot. No worries, Canal Place has you covered. Their indoor family friendly event, Shivers at Canal Place, has activities for everyone to enjoy.

Here are 5 reasons to take the family to Shivers at Canal Place::

Trick or Treating in A/C

It may be fall, but it doesn’t feel like it. You don’t have to worry about your little one getting over heated in their costumes at this indoor event. The kids get to enjoy trick or treating at various stores with complimentary candy totes (while supplies last). Also, it is a day time event, from 11 am – 1 pm, so it is perfect for the youngest family members who aren’t ready for night time events.

Costume Contest and Activities for the Kids

The kids have plenty to look forward to. In addition to the trick or treating, they can get their faces painted, balloon sculptures, and make a “Crud Buddy” craft. Make sure to enter the costume contest. Winners will be announced at 1 pm.

Shopping for the Parents

After your family does all of the activities, make sure to hit up the great shopping. Canal Place’s notable boutiques will be offering various specials the day of the event. If you spend $20, parking in the garage is validated.

State of the Art Virtual Reality Experience

Experience a variety of amazing virtual reality content. Explore underwater, alien battles, spaceships, etc. There will something that everyone will want to view.

It’s FREE

Fun for everyone and FREE! Shivers is open to the public and free for all ages. Partake in all the activities at no cost.

You definitely want to add this event to your calendar. All of the ghosts and goblins descend on Canal Place Saturday, October 26th.
