Kidcam Summer Camps

The countdown to summer is on, and Kidcam Camps is excitedly planning for their 47th summer! Summer camp might have looked a bit different last year, but Kidcam Camps is proud to have set the standard for keeping our Rockstars (campers) safe during the age of Covid-19. We held a special, 10-week camp session for Louisiana’s largest healthcare system with up to 1,500 campers across 15 sites, no Covid cases or incidents, and all while keeping with our mission: To bring the Spirit of Summer to life by creating memorable moments and lasting relationships, through a powerful summer camp experience that inspires greatness and brings smiles to faces. Kidcam then continued operating all Louisiana and Alabama summer day camp locations for the 10-weeks during summer.

With more than 12 camp locations to choose throughout the Greater New Orleans area, we are building on our success of last summer. We are currently planning for a limited capacity at each of our locations for 2021 due to ever-changing Covid-19 guidelines. Kidcam is also working with local health officials to determine the safest protocols so we can again provide the complete Kidcam Camp experience including a mix of Kid’s Choice, weekly field trips, and swimming.

Kidcam Camps is accredited by the American Camp Association. ACA is the only independent accrediting organization reviewing camp operations in the country. ACA’s nationally recognized standards program focuses primarily on the program quality, health and safety aspects of a camp’s operation.

  1. STEM course was extremely helpful and informative. The course quizzes were based on topics raised in the lectures and readings, which themselves were quite engaging, and enabled me to gain proper basic knowledge about how stem cells are studied and used to create disease treatments. The prospect of future development of treatment of macular degeneration and the ethical panel discussion as exceptionally fun to watch and learn about.
