Summertime is all about fun — so long as no one gets hurt! The Terrytown Library will host a series of safety awareness programs on Monday afternoons throughout June for kids, teens and grownups, led by professionals in the field, from the emergency management department and firefighting crews to wildlife agents and Red Cross instructors.
June 9th – Hurricane Preparedness with Jefferson Parish Emergency Management Department
June 16th – Water Safety for Kids with American Red Cross
June 23rd – Fire Safety with Terrytown Fire Department
June 30th – Wildlife Safety with Lousiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries
