The Best Dessert Charcuterie Board Ever!

The Best Dessert Charcuterie Board Ever!

As the holiday season approaches, it is time to start thinking about the perfect addition to any party … DESSERT! This charcuterie board is extremely easy to put together and is a huge hit. Personally, I am not great in the kitchen and am always looking for something quick and easy to put together. If it has too many ingredients, I’m out, so when I came across this idea, after tweaking it a little bit, I am proud to say this is my “go- to” and it will soon be yours too!

Whether you are hosting guests at your house or attending a party where you need to bring a dish, offer to bring the dessert and watch as everyone swoons over this delicious and creative board. You can use any board that you like, and you will need one bowl for the dip. The rest of the ingredients are just placed around the dip in an ever so delightful fashion. (I like to use this one so that all the ingredients stay separated.)

To begin, this charcuterie board starts with a chocolate chip dip. Yes, you must make ONE thing, but it only has four ingredients and is super easy and takes about 5 minutes. There are many chocolate chip dip recipes that you can find and any of them will work, but I personally like this one because it has the least amount of ingredients. Remember, we are busy moms, we need easy.

Chocolate Chip Dessert Dip

  • 8 oz cream cheese – room temperature
  • ½ cup confectioners’ sugar
  • ¼ cup French Vanilla Coffee Creamer (I use this anyway, so it is always in my fridge)
  • ½ cup mini chocolate chips

Combine the first three ingredients in a mixer bowl and whip on medium-high until dip is creamy and smooth. Then fold in the mini chocolate chips. Voila! It is ready!

Assemble the Board

Now, the BEST part. You are going to go to the store and get these pre-made ingredients to put around the dip:

  • Strawberries and blueberries so that you have some sweet pretty fruit.
  • Mini Nilla Wafers – a simple small cookie that goes great with the dip.
  • Pound Cake (cut into little squares) – You can either buy a pound cake and cut it or you can buy pound cake muffin bites.
  • Mini Brownie Bites – for the people that prefer the rich brownie taste, which also tastes incredible with the dip. You can find mini brownie bites at Target and most places, or you can even get the Little Bites Fudge Brownies  that come in little pouches (no one needs to know you took them from your kids’ lunch box).
  • Pretzels sticks – for the people that prefer a salty treat and the sticks dip perfectly into the dip.

That’s it! You hit all the individual taste buds of all the different people: fruit, cookie, cake, brownie, pretzel, and a dip that tastes amazing on all of it! People love all the beautiful colors and textures, and it is so easy to just grab a quick sweet bite. When I take this to parties, there is never anything left. People always ask me if I made the pound cake or the brownies, and I say “YES,” of course! Throw away the evidence, and enjoy the attention; you are going to get a lot of it!

Bree Miller
My name is Brianna, but most people call me Bree! I am married to the love of my life, Michael, and we have two teenage daughters named Krista (18) and Marissa (14). I grew up in Metairie, spent my college years trying out the different Universities around New Orleans, and finally graduated from Southeastern Louisiana University in Elementary Education. I have been teaching kindergarten for nearly 15 years and recently moved to a new 4th grade position. We live in Madisonville and are thrilled to be home after living in Alabama for 10 years. Our family and strong roots brought us back home where we belong. I absolutely love being a mom to my teenage girls, while sometimes a little tricky, being their mom has been the greatest joy of my life. Our family enjoys going to the beach, “grillin and chillin”, going to country concerts, and raising the wildest little fur baby that you’ve ever heard of!
