Newk’s Eatery is NOW OPEN in Mandeville!!!
Newk’s Eatery just opened in Mandeville! This is so exciting!
The restaurant opened on January 13th and is located in the Village Shopping Center on Hwy 190 (by Fleurty Girl and Talbots) adjacent to Pelican Athletic Club. Newk’s offers high quality food, fresh ingredients, and a wonderful variety in a fast, casual dining environment.
A Little History
Newk’s was founded in Oxford, Mississippi in 2004. Within the first 3 years, they were recognized as “Top 10 New Restaurant Concepts” by Restaurant Chains Magazine. Fast forward to 2017, and Newk’s was named among Fast Casual’s “Top 20 Movers & Shakers” and “25 Smartest Growing Brands” by Franchise Times. Newk’s was named one of Nation’s Restaurant News’ “20 Standout Brands.” Today there are over 100 locations in 13 states in the U.S. And now Mandeville is lucky enough to be included in this number.
Menu
Newk’s Eatery offers sandwiches, wraps, salads, soups, pizzas, macaroni and cheese, desserts, a kid’s menu, and a variety of drinks including their delicious famous sweet tea. They offer value pairings such as soup and sandwich, salad and sandwich, pizza and salad, to name a few. The kid’s meal options include sandwiches with chips or fruit or pizza or macaroni with an applesauce, and a kid’s Mott’s juice. They also have a “grab and go” section with their homemade chicken salad, pimento cheese, or their homemade soups, sandwiches, and ready to go sides including fruit potato salad or pasta salad. You can also grab some ready-to-go desserts, and they even have whole cakes available for purchase. Their homemade cakes include strawberry, red velvet, chocolate, pumpkin spice and caramel.
The Best Part
The roundtable at Newk’s Eatery is a complimentary selection of toppings and condiments that customers can enjoy with their meal. It includes breadsticks, bread and butter pickles, pepperoncinis, jalapeños, fresh baked croutons, balsamic vinegar, olive oil, hot sauces, and condiments.
My Personal Experience
Our family has been enjoying Newk’s Eatery for years. There is a location in an area that we travel to often, and it has always been my favorite place to stop on our road trip! It is always good, always fresh, comes out fast, and no matter what I have tried, it has been pleasantly consistent and delicious! My personal favorite is the chicken salad sandwich with baked potato soup, a side of breadsticks and bread and butter pickles and a large, sweet tea! You will leave full, happy, and impressed!
