Five Reasons Why Every New Orleans Mom Should Consider A Boudoir Session

New Orleans Boudoir Photographer

We moms share so much in common. We love and care for our children, sacrifice our time, energy and money for our families, and too often put ourselves last — especially when prioritizing personal wants, needs, and our “wildest” desires. That said, moms are most importantly beautiful inside and out, and we all have a sexy seductive side waiting in the wings to be set free.

There’s nothing like running around with Cheerios in our hair and our favorite workout sweatpants on for three days straight to help us forget that we are gorgeous divine beings.

Well ladies, in the new year we encourage you to resolve to honor that beautiful, seductive, alluring, phenomenal woman we know you are. A fantastic way to do this is by treating yourself to a boudoir session. Boudoir is a classy, elegant way to discretely show off your sexier side and celebrate the beauty of YOU!

Here are five reasons every mom should consider a boudoir session:

  1. Boudoir sessions are surprisingly fun. I’ve done them twice: the first with my friend who was deciding whether she wanted to incorporate boudoir into her photography repertoire and the second in a studio with my husband watching. The first session was relaxed and funny as we tried a few hour’s worth of moving lights and attempting to model. The second was very sexy and empowering. My husband and I still talk about how much we enjoyed it, and as we’re “due” for updated photos, thank you for the timely post!

    • Thank you for the comment! Is it SO much fun. I’ve never left a session without thinking, “wow that was awesome!” I’ve photographed couples before as well, and the couples truly enjoyed it, it’s a invigorating and fun experience to share together! Thank you for taking the time to read the article and I’d love to possibly work with you in the future!

  2. I love this. We, as moms hardly ever give ourself the grace to enjoy our own skin. This post is wonderful for that encouragement. Looks like I need to book myself a boudoir session soon!
