Yes, it’s true.
I literally buy Starbucks Coffee every day.
On any given weekday, you can find my swagger wagon pulling into my local Starbucks between 7:50 & 8am daily. I look like a hot mess in my usual black leggings, over sized tee and my hair tossed up under a baseball hat.
The drive thru line is full of cars just like mine. Mostly vans and SUVs full of empty car seats with a baby or toddler in tow. They just did the same morning drive.
Now that my older boys are dropped off at school, my baby and I are able to sit in the Starbucks line while jamming out to Pandora’s best baby stations. Do I mind that the line is ridiculously long? Nope, not usually. It’s just me and my sweet baby chilling and waiting on my order. I appreciate this down time to be able to collect my thoughts as the day is beginning.
Once I get my drink and take my first sip … ahh … all is well at that single moment!
Momma has her coffee, and now I can conquer the day no matter what it may have in store for me.
Yes, I can fully admit that I am addicted to caffeine. I’m not ashamed. This is my addiction. It could be much worse in this world, sadly.
Lately, though, I always feel like someone or the internet is telling me to stop my daily coffee habit.
Whether it’s for a health benefit or to save money (my couple of bucks a day habit is not what’s keeping me from being a millionaire, by the way). And you know what? I’m sick of having to defend myself. I love my fancy coffee drinks. Whether it’s a seasonal latte or the newest ridiculous frappuccino flavor, more than likely I’ve tried it or I am going to very soon.
This momma enjoys and looks forward to her daily coffee shop run. And you know what? Maybe my coffee runs are what keeps this momma of three running and going!
