2022 Mardi Gras Fashion Guide :: Where to Find the Best Clothes and Accessories

The time is here! It’s Carnival Time!!

Cue the second line music.

Mardi Gras is a time of expression, party, and community … and not to mention costumes and fun fashion.

As we get our festive outfits together, here is a quick guide for finding some cute accessories and tees in all sizes.

As a plus-size mom, I like to be festive as well. Here are a few of my favorite boutiques, clothing stores, and jewelry shops that carry sizes for us busty gals!

Fleurty Girl

The go-to place for all things NOLA. With so many options up to a size 3XL. By the way, all the shirts are super soft, if you see me at the parades rubbing on my shirt well you know why.

Also, be sure to pick up some fun leggings that come in both regular and curvy sizes. And don’t forget to get your glitter by Elektra Cosmetics.

Purple Tiger Boutique

You will find so many fun pieces here. Their accessories are so cute with such amazing prices. They are so much fun to shop with; you can catch their live sales on FB and instantly want to be one of their best friends!

Fringe and Co

OMG, everything about Fringe and Co is amazing! You will sparkle all day and night with their pieces. Stand out from the crowd with all the beauty of sparkle and sequence from Caftans to shirts and so many fun outfits. Your inner child will light up with the amazingness that comes from Fringe and Co. The headwraps are super easy to put on, and you can wear them multiple ways. Be sure to follow them on IG if you are looking to add some joy and fun to your life.

Golden Lily

Looking for cute accessories? Look no further, Golden Lily has every accessory piece you are looking for. From headbands to bags to earrings, you will find something for all ages.

Laalee

Handcrafted with love, Laalee has some beautiful accessories ever. You will find unique pieces that add pretty details to any outfit.

Nola T-shirt Club

Nola T-shirt Club makes graphic tees with fun phrases, and they carry up to a size 5XL. Their shirts make great gifts for friends and family coming into town. If you love their shirts, sign up for the monthly subscription where you can get a shirt every month. More information is on their website.

I’m sure there are many more fun boutiques throughout the city that capture the spirit of Mardi Gras through fashion. Did I miss your favorite place? Let me know in the comments and I’ll be sure to check them out.

See you at the parades in all my fun glitter!
