Prospective parents and their daughters can stop by for face painting, a scavenger hunt and to read and play in the Pre-K and K classrooms.
Families will visit McGehee’s new outdoor classroom – the Butterfly Garden, where girls can explore, release butterflies and learn all about the life cycle of the butterfly.
Girls will also see the school’s Tinker Lab where they can deconstruct, build and engage their “inner engineer.” Another playdate highlight is the opportunity to go to the Pre-K and K classrooms, play math games and enjoy the wide variety of books McGehee has to offer.
Known for its individualized approach, McGehee lower school faculty will be on hand to provide their visitors with a taste of PK and K center time as well as some of the techniques employed for reading and writing.
