Don’t Miss the NOMA Egg Hunt and Family Festival
The NOMA Egg Hunt and Family Festival is a fun and joyful event for families featuring arts & crafts, games, drinks, sweets, music, and more. The festival is set within the picturesque Sydney and Walda Besthoff Sculpture Garden – one of the most popular public spaces in New Orleans for families and visitors alike. This year, we hope to have even more young children, parents and grandparents attend this spectacular event.
Activities kick off at 10:30AM morning, with children hunting for 19,000 eggs hidden throughout the Sydney and Walda Besthoff Sculpture Garden. Two separate Egg Hunts take place simultaneously−one for children ages five and under, and another for children ages six and up−to ensure that every child gets a chance to fill their basket.
After the egg hunt, children and families can stay for a family festival. Kids of all ages can partake in numerous activities, including face painting, a petting zoo, a hula hoop station, and a tattoo salon for the little rebels in the family. Don’t forget your camera! There will be photo opportunities with special guests the Elmer Bunny, Alice and the Mad Hatter, and Curious George. Mimosas and Bloody Marys will be available for the adults in attendance, or should we say, the kids at heart.
The NOMA Egg Hunt & Family Festival takes place on Saturday, March 24th 2018 in the Sydney and Walda Besthoff Sculpture Garden, from 10AM – 1PM. Tickets are $10 per person for NOMA members and $12 per person for non-members. Children ages 2 and under get in for free. Tickets the day of the event are $15 at the door. Ticket prices include all entertainment, activities, and refreshments. Refreshments include breakfast and lunch snacks, iced coffee, iced tea and water. Tickets are non-refundable and the event is rain or shine!
