6th Annual Moms Night Out {Event Recap}

Mom’s Night Out Recap

Our event on Saturday, August 11 was a BLAST to say the least! Imagine 500+ women, mostly moms, decked out in their Mardi Gras ball finest and dancing the night away. With 2019 being a hiatus year (perhaps indefinitely), we think it was the perfect way to end Moms Night Out. And those of who stuck around, we hope you enjoyed Wilson Phillips as much as we did. #holdonforonemoreday

We want to thank all of you for spending your Saturday night with us and totally getting into the theme of the evening; we were blown away by the creativity in your wardrobes. It is humbling to see how many of you came ready to party with us, and we were all truly excited to meet those of you who read our content. To be able to party with our virtual New Orleans friends is part of why we do what we do, and it is what makes us a true local parenting website for New Orleans. We strive to provide you with the highest quality events possible and continue to be humbled by your response to our efforts. We know it was hot, but we so appreciate your grace and understanding. We had a great time socializing and dancing with you and we hope you enjoyed your night off from mom-duty!  Thank you for coming and for getting into the spirit!

Title Sponsors

For SIX years running, we have worked with both Touro and Children’s Hospital to produce this anticipated New Orleans event, and it has been our absolute pleasure. Our team has had extensive personal experiences at both hospitals (everything from delivering our bundles of joy to broken legs and surgery), and we are delighted that our readers often share similar positive experiences with our title sponsors. Our events, that you all have come to love, simply would not be possible without them.  I speak for our entire team and the 500 beautiful moms in attendance when I say “THANK YOU!”

Table Sponsors

Building community goes beyond getting to know your neighbors. It’s also about shopping local and getting to know your locally owned and operated businesses. Our events provide a convenient setting for consumers and businesses to interact and learn about each other. We cannot say enough about the local business owners who gave up their Saturday evenings to mingle with local moms for a night of fun without the kids. We thank each and every one of them for not only showing up but for being engaging and noticeably thrilled to meet our guests. It was a wonderful evening.

VIP Ticket Sponsors

We want to give a huge shout out to our VIP Sponsors for pampering our moms!

Food and Beverage Sponsors

We hope you all came hungry! Our food and beverage section provided something for everyone. Whether you were looking for something sweet or salty, spicy or fresh, you were guaranteed to satisfy your craving. We hope you enjoyed tasting some of the very best culinary options from NOLA’s finest restaurants.

Graphic Design & Program Sponsors

We have been honored to partner with KISSYFISH for the past several years and love everything she has created for us. Kissyfish provided the artwork for the event, including the programs and always has a beautiful finished product.

Pre-Party Sponsors

We have to start with a standing ovation and a HUGE thank you to Cherry Blowdry Bar(conveniently located in Old Metairie) for the amazing hairstyles for our team. They were timely, professional, friendly, quick, and super talented, which is all you want and need in a New Orleans hair salon. Some of us have already been back for regular blowouts and can’t say enough nice things! Second, a huge thank you to the talented and SO MUCH FUN Elektra Cosmetics who made sure we glittered and sparkled in true Nola fashion!

We nibbled on a variety of delicious food from St. James Cheese Company, Zoe’s Kitchen, Raising Canes, and Eat City Greens all of whom we cannot recommend enough. We had sweets courtesy of Stephanie’s Bake Shop and bubbles thanks to Pearl Wine Co.  Thanks to all of you for providing the delicious food for our team as we prepped for our biggest mom’s night out to date! And a big thank you to Native Nail Polish for letting us use the fabulous new line of nail polish- Gorgeous! Last but not least, thank you to Sweet Honeybee for capturing all the fun!
