Morning Mocktails {In Three Ingredients or Less}

I recently had the opportunity to represent the blog on WWLTV’s morning show. They wanted a feature on mocktails (cocktails minus the alcohol) and reached out to us. I had some in my repertoire and some previously posted on the blog. After reaching out to Bin428 on Magazine Street, I scored some great ideas. I’ve been unimpressed with mocktails in the past, but these stepped up to the challenge. All of these drinks are great as is and perfect to serve for a family party. You can easily add liquor to any of these (It’s 5 o’clock somewhere!), vodka would be the easiest for all of them if you want a universal option. The specialty ingredients can all be found at Bin428 or online. La Croix is available at any grocery store. All drinks are for one serving.

Grapefruit Cherry Cooler
Grapefruit La Croix
Luxardo Maraschino Cherries

Place two cherries and 2 tablespoons cherry juice in the bottom of a glass. Top with La Croix.

Rose Arnold Palmer (Sally Ann’s fav!)

4 oz Fentimans Rose Lemonade
4 oz unsweetened black tea
2 tbsp Locally Preserved Mint Simple Syrup

Mix all ingredients in a shaker and pour over ice. Garnish with lemon and fresh mint.

Coco Colada
8 oz Coconut La Croix Sparkling Water
1 oz pineapple juice (I prefer Dole because it’s no sugar added and not from concentrate)

Mix all ingredients in a shaker with ice and strain into a glass. (Rum would be delish here!)

Strawberry Ginger Spritzer
2 tbsp Locally Preserved Strawberry Ginger syrup
Soda water

Place syrup at the bottom of a champagne flute and top with soda water (I used San Pellegrino). Garnish with fresh strawberry.

You can view the clip from the WWL morning show where I discuss all the drinks above and how to make them with Sally Ann.

What are your favorite drinks for summer?
