Growing up, my mom and grandmother never left the house without looking put together. Hair fixed, always a little blush, mascara and lipstick. I learned from their example, which is why I’ll never let myself go.
I LOVE my boys and being a mom. But I completely resonated with a post Emily wrote that motherhood doesn’t completely define me. I want to maintain who I was before having children and see motherhood as an added blessing to my life … not a replacement for who I once was.
Devote Just 10 Minutes to Yourself
Everyday I try to spend just about 10 minutes on my routine, which includes hair and makeup. I filmed a tutorial that I hope can help others simplify their day to day while stepping out the house feeling like you “woke up like this.”
