Amanda, a native New Orleanian, spent 8 years in Baton Rouge pursuing her undergraduate and graduate education. She married her college sweetheart and his career brought them home to New Orleans. Soon thereafter, they discovered they were expecting their first child and before he turned one, they learned another surprise blessing was on the way. Amanda worked full time as an attorney but scaled her practice back when they relocated to the Northshore. They recently welcomed their 3rd child and son. They love the laid back pace of the Northshore. When Amanda is not working you can find her at Franco’s or chasing after her three boys. When she gets a moment to herself she enjoys nights out with girlfriends, a good book, and cooking. All of which are enhanced with a glass of wine in hand.Event ManagerAngelina was born and raised in New Orleans and returned home after graduating from LSU (once she realized she was broke and in need of a real job). She furthered her education with a MBA, paid down debt and planted roots here with her husband of nearly 14 years, Josh. They have two boys, Jude and Elijah. Angelina is a work from home mom and co-owns Papillon Social Media with fellow executive team member Myndee. She's a foodie, wino and snowball addict who enjoys yoga, barre and fueling her makeup addiction with trips to Sephora. Weekdays are mostly organized chaos, balancing work, extracurricular and cleaning toy cars out of her purse. Weekends are filled with happy hour play dates, family bike rides, trips to the farmer’s market, and attempts to make it through Sunday mass with kids.Media RelationsCatherine followed her college sweetheart (and now wife) Claire to New Orleans after they both graduated from the University of Georgia. She is a twin mom, a stay at home mom, a boy mom, a Disney mom, and a 2 mom family mom...just to name a few. She throws a mean toddler play date and loves to host small humans in her home for themed out events! She is often planning her next great family adventure, and she is never scared to pack her twins up for a trip solo! Her parenting mantra is "embrace the chaos", and there is plenty of that when raising twin boys! You can follow her family adventures on instagram @krewedekarasSocial Media AssistantJaime, originally from Florida, has called Louisiana her home for over 20 years. She lives on the Northshore with her husband, Patrick, and son, Dillon, where she also teaches high school English. After recently finishing graduate school, Jaime can say she mastered the art of balancing work/school and family. Though she spends most of her time chasing her toddler son and working on lesson plans, Jaime enjoys cooking Rachael Ray meals, teaching herself how to crochet, reading her latest book store buy, and watching way too much Netflix. Likely to have a coffee in hand and start a sentence with “I was listening to this podcast…” Jaime loves to work on her writing on her personal blog, Whole Latte Nothing.Assistant EditorJen re-located from Dallas to New Orleans in 2007, after a brief Christmas visit with her (then fiancée) Dave made her realize she’d found her soul city. When she’s not volunteering at her two little bug’s school (one boy, one girl), she enjoys being active and adventurous. In addition to completing Tough Mudders, Jen can be found walking at the park, taking HIIT classes, swinging Kettlebells and boxing around the city. She loves chats at coffee shops with a good friend and insists on having a family fun day at home once a week. Those days are for couch time, completing puzzles or playing Nintendo while her Beagle mix Maddie snoozes on her lap and her fat cat Cinco hangs nearby. Jen feels that the big city of New Orleans is more like a small town and loves chatting with strangers, especially at Mardi Gras. In addition to her blog contributions, you can find her collection of short stories to share with friends at www.jenlassalle.com.Special Projects and Event AssistantKaren is a former NICU nurse turned work-from-home mom. She recently moved back to South Florida but strives to carry the spirit, spunk and fun of New Orleans with her. Currently her days are spent running from the grocery store to pre-school pick up while simultaneously fielding sales calls and scheduling sponsored posts and social media. She came home shortly after Katrina, to work as a zookeeper and be a part of the rebuilding of her beloved city. She dragged her husband Drake, a Tennessee native, along with her. Their son Bennett joined the family in 2010, and in 2014 they welcomed identical twin girls, Genevieve and Kellen Clair. She now works full time as an Environmental Scientist and part-time as NOMB’s resident Jill of All Trades. Powered by espresso, cake, and craft beer, her happy place is on a beach or in the woods. She loves to cook, pretend she’s a runner, photograph her kids, and be crafty.Project Manager – Guest ExperienceMarie is the owner of Little Hometown, a company specializing in locally themed baby swaddles and apparel. Prior to opening her business, Marie was a professional event planner turned stay-at-home mom. She spent nearly a decade living in New York City, where she met her husband of seven years, Jeff (a New England native). Early in their relationship, Marie told Jeff that New Orleans is the only place where she would want to raise her children. As soon as she got pregnant, they started shopping for houses. They moved back in December of 2012, welcomed Benjamin in March 2013 and Margot in October 2015. Marie now spends her days entertaining her kids with silly songs, desperately attempting to stay organized, and learning to balance her new life as a work-at-home mom.Project Coordinator – GraphicsTara grew up all over south Louisiana and currently lives in Metairie with her husband Josh, and their 3 kids Dax, Dane and Delta.
