My New Found Love :: Total Wine and More

It’s like the Super Target of liquor stores

What if I told you that there’s this place that has all the wine, spirits, and everything in between? Yes, you read that right. The Super Target of wine/liquor stores. The name of this magical store is Total Wine and More, and they have finally come to our great city!

The first time I walked into this wonderland, the sliding doors opened, and I could hear the hallelujah chorus as ray beams shined down like they were coming out of the clouds.

Yes, to me it’s the second-best thing to Disney (for those who know me well, know I love Disney.)

Taking it all in

It took me about three times, walking throughout the store, really take in everything that was there. I wanted to see everything they had to offer, and I was in awe of what they had. All of the wine brands we know and love–a lot from different countries and brands I’ve never even heard of. Looking for some local favorites? Yes, they have that, too. I also noticed they are following all safety measures. Hand sanitizer provided at the front door, markers to practice social distancing, and everyone must wear a mask.

If you get confused or just need advice on what to choose, the friendly staff is very knowledgeable about everything they offer.

The pricing is great with wine bottles from $3 up to $100.00. The same goes for the spirits and beer. You can even get a consultation for an upcoming wedding or event. Another cool thing about Total Wine is that it’s a one-stop-shop. They have mixers for those who like a fancy cocktail, sodas for the ones who like a dash of coke in their Crown Royal, and the Grenadine for the ones who like a little flavor in their beer. No need to look for cups, shot glasses, or nice wine glasses, yeti bottle openers…IT’S ALL IN THERE, SIS! For the ones who have a champagne room or wine cellar, they sell cute décor and placement pieces to spice up your rooms.

The Tasting Hours

I have yet to be there when they have wine tastings, but on Fridays and Saturdays between 12-6 and 2-6 on Sundays, you can taste some of what they have to offer in their store. I also noticed they offer classes, but I believe due to COVID, none are being held.

For information on all things Total Wine and more, download the app, and if you don’t want to into the store, you can order online for pickup or delivery. The app has more perks to it as well, but I’ll let you explore that.

Have you visited the Super Target of liquor stores yet? I want to know, and maybe we can discuss our love for this new store over a virtual glass of wine or cocktail. CHEERS!
