This year’s egg hunt at NOMA is more than just a hunt. The NOMA Egg Hunt and Family Festival presented by Whitney Bank is a fun and festive event for families featuring arts & crafts, games, face painting, a petting zoo, food, drinks, sweets, music, and more. The festival is set within the picturesque Sydney and Walda Besthoff
The morning will kick off with children hunting for 19,000 eggs hidden in the Sydney and Walda Besthoff Sculpture Garden at 10:30 a.m.! To ensure that every child gets a chance to fill their basket with eggs, there will be two separate egg hunts: one for children ages 5 and under and another one for children ages 6 and up.
After the egg hunt, children and families can stay for a family festival. Our new activities include a hula hoop station, drawing activities, live music, student performances, and story time just to name a few. There will also be photo opportunities with special guests the Elmer Bunny, Alice and the Mad Hatter, and Curious George. Don’t forget your camera! There will also be a bloody mary and mimosa bar and an adult activities tent for parents.
The NOMA Egg Hunt & Family Festival presented by Whitney Bank is Saturday, March 12, 2016 from 10 am until 2 pm in the Sydney and Walda Besthoff Sculpture Garden. Tickets are $10 per person for NOMA members and $12 per person for non-members. Children ages 2 and under get in for free. Tickets the day of the event are $15 at the door. Ticket prices include all entertainment, activities, and refreshments. Refreshments include breakfast and lunch snacks, iced coffee, iced tea and water. Tickets are non-refundable and the event will go on rain or shine!
NOMA’s Egg Hunt & Family Festival presented by Whitney Bank will be one of the year’s can’t-miss family events so hop on over with your family for a fun-filled day.
Does anyone know if the eggs will contain prizes or be empty?
I’d like to win! Here’s my fun way to have an Easter Egg Hunt: Blindfold either Mom or Dad. Have the other parent give directions to where the eggs are. Watch the kiddies have a ball watching Mom and Dad being silly!
