Northshore Date Night at the Newly Renovated Copeland’s

Copeland’s of New Orleans has been a Louisiana staple for restaurant-goers for years, FORTY years to be exact! As part of the restaurant group‘s 40th-anniversary celebration, a Northshore Date Night at the Newly Renovated Copeland'snew look and new atmosphere have been unveiled at the Covington location. Each additional Copeland’s location (Jefferson, Kenner, Harvey, Slidell, Houma + 4 out of state) will also receive the bright and airy makeover very soon!

Special Features at the Renovated Covington Location

The newly-renovated restaurant is lighter and brighter and feels really open and fresh. The bar area has been re-designed and would be a great after-work stop or moms’ night out. There is also a renovated patio area that is landscaped and will feature live music and outdoor seating. One of the best features is a glassed-in party room for small gatherings and special events.

Date Night on the Northshore at Copeland’s

My husband and I enjoyed a really wonderful date night last week at the newly renovated Covington location. You’ll notice the exterior signage has been modernized as well as an updated menu. But don’t worry, some of the 1983 classics like Bayou Broccoli (appetizer), Eggplant Pirogue (one of my favorites), and Jambalaya Pasta remain on the menu. There are also some healthier options, and you can substitute squash noodles for any pasta on the menu. I loved that they have a Happy Hour menu too (featuring $2 off Premium Martinis, $3 beer, 9 oz wine pour for the price of 6 oz, $7 specialty drinks listed, and several appetizer options for half off)! Everything was really delicious! (See my strawberry whiskey lemonade pictured above!)

Dare to Dessert at Copeland’s

We were also celebrating a special day, so we opted for both seasonal King Cake desserts: the King Cake cheesecake and the King Cake bread pudding. While we don’t typically order dessert after dinner (much less two), we went for it! I highly recommend you save room for something sweet after dinner! There are several cheesecake options, true to Copeland’s heritage, and also Bananas Foster, Homemade Brownie Deluxe a la mode, Alex’s Carrot Cake, Big Al’s Chocolate Fudge Cake, and Rum Cream Bread Pudding.

Consider spending your next date night or family meal with Copeland’s of New Orleans. The restaurant is the perfect atmosphere for a date night, but also relaxed enough to bring your children for a family meal together. You can also join the Lagniappe Club to earn points and redeem rewards. Don’t forget the cheesecake!
