Beign-YAY for the 2022 Beignet Fest!

Beignet Fest New Orleans

The Beignet Fest – A Festival For a Cause

New Orleans and festivals go together like shrimp and grits. Fall in New Orleans sets the stage for a plethora of festivals. What could be better than a Fall festival? A Fall festival that is for a wonderful cause. All proceeds of Beignet Fest go to the Beignet Fest Foundation. The Beignet Fest Foundation is a 501c3 non-profit organization that brings awareness and support for children with developmental delays and disabilities. Definitely a worthy case. Money from the Foundation goes to grants to various non-profit organizations that support families in New Orleans with children that have developmental delays or disabilities.

Beignet Fest - Family Fun New Orleans What Is New at Beignet Fest 2022?

This year marks the return of Beignet Fest, and it is expected to return with a BANG! This year the festival is partnering with Children’s Hospital New Orleans. This partnership will work to create a sensory friendly environment with multiple activities designed to be inclusive of all children in the Kids Village. There will be two music stages, one on the main stage and one location in the Kids Village. There’s a full array of beignets to be had, too! Check out the full menu and the musical line up HERE.

A Resource Walk Area at the Fest will have booths set up with wonderful resources for anyone interested in more information about services for children with developmental delays. Clinical experts and providers will have booths for any parent that would like to stop by.

Let’s Talk About the Goodies at the Beignet Fest!

Now onto the Beignet Fest food and beverages! There will be various food vendors with both savory and sweet beignets. Festival goers will be able to vote for Best Beignet in both the Sweet and Savory categories. PJ’s Coffee will be on site with a Coffee Cafe and their own beignets for sale at the Beignet Fest. Yum! Coffee and Beignets! For the adults, Abita Beer will be setting up an Abita Beer Garden with yard games and a shady place to have a cold one. While munching on your beignets, check out the Artist Market and grab some local fare while supporting local artists.
