My Top 5 Places to Buy Holiday Cards

Pumpkin Spice Lattes are on their way out and Red Cups have arrived! So, do you know what that means? The holidays are quickly approaching! Holiday music is already on Sirius Radio and any store you enter you can see merchandise for the upcoming holiday.

It’s safe to say that this time of year is my absolute favorite. I love everything about it! The music, the food, and all the good cheer; it’s contagious! One of the things I enjoy the most is receiving holiday cards in the mail. You can read more about my love for that here.

But how do you make the perfect holiday card? Sure, a big part is securing the most adorable snapshots of your kiddos, but what’s next? If you do a quick Google search you can be bombarded with online businesses promoting holiday cards. It can be a bit overwhelming and where does one even start?

After crowdsourcing and my own experiences, here are my top 5 places to order holiday cards ::

Shutterfly :: I’ve used Shutterfly for years. I’ve ordered prints, photo books, calendars, blankets; you name it! The past several holiday seasons they have been my go-to for cards. I find their card designing to be super user-friendly and they always are running some sort of promotion. Tip – order early to get the best deals!

Minted :: Minted has come recommended highly from friends. While I’ve received their cards and they are beautiful and are of fantastic quality, they can be pricey. This would be more of a splurge for myself unless I found a great online deal.

MPix :: MPix is where my photographer suggests we use for prints and photo cards. They have premium quality products and have super fast shipping. For new users, make sure you take advantage of their new customer special.

Costco and Sams :: For those that have to send out a ton of cards but don’t want to spend a small fortune; this is your best option. With cost-effective prices and quick processing, this is a good value all around.

Lakeside Camera :: I love to shop local when I can and have used this company for birth announcements. They have a large assortment of designs for cards and it’s a great alternative to big box stores. Tip – they offer in-store mini sessions! So it can be a one-stop shop! Pictures and cards, done!
