Christmas Gift Ideas for Preteen Girls

gifts for preteen girlsPreteens are a tough age when it comes to gift-buying. They aren’t little girls anymore but not quite teens. If you’re like me, you don’t want to just dole out money, so finding special gifts that preteen girls will like can be challenging. My daughter is 12 and created a Christmas gift list on Amazon and also mentioned a few things that I can share with you. (Disclaimer: I am not purchasing all of these items necessarily, and I haven’t verified them yet.)

  • Casetify Phone Case. These are pricey but she swears it’s highly protective! And they have cute designs. (Important Note that my 12-year-old uses her phone for school emails, texting friends, and calling parents. There is zero social media use allowed.)
  • Full-length mirror for her room
  • Rollerblades
  • Sweatpants/ Pajama Pants
  • Tennis shoes (waiting on the link to the specific pair…I suggest asking exactly which pair for this one!)
  • Small earrings
  • Graphic hoodie sweatshirt
  • Sol De Janeiro Body Spray
  • Salon-quality hair products

A few other ideas that work for preteens:

  • Introductory makeup like soft colored lip glosses, powder, lighter shades of blush and eye shadow
  • Makeup case (yes Caboodle is still alive!)
  • Face care (face wash, lotion, acne cream)
  • Small purses/backpack purses
  • Fun scrunchies, hair ties, hair clips
  • Nail polish
  • Fuzzy socks
  • Graphic tees
  • Pajamas (the special order version with your pet’s face like these are super fun!)
  • Books
  • Journal/Diary
  • Gift cards to H&M, Target, Old Navy, and other clothing stores
  • Bath bombs, special soaps, sprays
  • Airpods or Earpods that Bluetooth connect to devices

Good luck shopping this holiday season! I hope this list helps cultivate some ideas for the preteen in your life.
