Celebrate Spring at the NOMA Egg Hunt and Family Festival!
Hunt for over 18,000 eggs hidden throughout NOMA’s world-renowned Sydney and Walda Besthoff Sculpture Garden during the annual NOMA Egg Hunt and Family Festival. The event returns on Saturday, April 1, from 10 am to 1 pm.
A fun all-ages event, the festival features arts & crafts, games, face painting, and music—and beverages for the parents! The egg hunts for ages 4 and under and ages 5 and up will begin at 10:30 am.
Advance tickets are $10 for museum members and $15 for the general public. Day-of tickets are $18. Free admission for children under two years old.
Organized by NOMA Egg Hunt Chairs Courtney Lane and Jenny Longwell with NOMA Volunteer Committee Chair Elizabeth Grimes, the event supports NOMA’s education and exhibition initiatives.
For many families, the Egg Hunt is their first introduction to the New Orleans Museum of Art and the Besthoff Sculpture Garden. Featuring more than 90 sculptures from the 19th century to present day, NOMA’s Besthoff Sculpture Garden offers the opportunity to see these important works of art set within the unique, picturesque Louisiana landscape.
The NOMA Egg Hunt and Family Festival’s lead sponsors are Catherine Burns Tremaine and Children’s Hospital New Orleans.
