Art & A/C presented by The Helis Foundation

FREE family fun in New OrleansNew Orleans got a little bit cooler this summer with the return of Art & A/C courtesy of The Helis Foundation. Louisiana residents are invited to escape the heat and enjoy free admission every Saturday in August to some of New Orleans’ most beloved museums, including Ogden Museum of Southern Art, Contemporary Arts Center, and New Orleans Museum of Art. Whether a family outing or a day date with your best girls, Louisiana residents may explore some of our city’s cultural institutions and experience the latest exhibitions and programs these spaces have to offer at no charge. Don’t forget to grab some swag and cold treats. Now that’s COOL!

The Helis Foundation strives to eliminate cost barriers as one way of making the arts more accessible to everyone in our community. Art & A/C is part of a range of arts initiatives from The Helis Foundation that are free to the public, including Art for All free days, Poydras Corridor Sculpture Exhibition, and Unframed.

Beat the heat and take advantage of these exhibitions at each institution during August:
