The oldest daughter of a hotel manager, Carly considered herself a nomad most of her life, having lived in 5 states and 3 countries. In 2009, she moved to New Orleans, fell in love with this city, and has claimed it as her home ever since. Now happily settled, she is a solo parent to two kids, ages 7 and 10, and works in the finance industry. She holds a BA in Theology, and has loved writing since she was a little girl. When she is not doing laundry or dishes, you can find her taking a nap, reading, or doing an art project with her kiddos.
