It’s World Art Day! What a great time to break out the poster boards and craft supplies and celebrate with your kids!

Time spent in art projects promotes creativity and a love of learning. Art helps with hand-eye coordination and practicing focus. Art is self-expressive and can be appreciated at any skill level. Art builds self esteem and can be meditative and healing. Art is beautiful and can add color, life, and enjoyment to your life and home!

April 15th was chosen as World Art Day because it’s Leonardo da Vinci’s birthday. Leonardo da Vinci, world renown Renaissance artist, has become a symbol of peace, freedom of expression, and tolerance.
