There are only TWO months left of 2016, y’all! Make the most of the rest of the year!! We found some fabulous November activities for your family to enjoy in and around New Orleans.

November 4 :: Join us for Costco Mom Hour at 9:00 at Costco New Orleans! Join us for swag, giveaways, samples and shopping. Learn more and register for this FREE event here!

November 4 :: Amanda Shaw will be performing on The Lakehouse Patio from 6-8pm. Arrive early as seats are first come, first serve on the patio. Food Truck with Light Bites & Festive Cocktails available to purchase on the patio. Reservations recommended for regular dining.

November 5 :: Healthy Harvest Festival at the Louisiana Children’s Museum. Celebrate fresh foods harvested in Louisiana. Learn how to stay healthy and happy with an active lifestyle! Enjoy hands-on activities that focus on the fall harvest, healthy living, and fresh, local foods.

November 11, 12 :: The New Orleans Book Festival is a celebration of books for readers of all ages. The two-day festival includes a family-friendly evening performance and a full day of programming for book lovers ranging from new readers to literary scholars.

November 12 :: Mid-City will be stomping the grapes to prepare for the holiday season at Pearl Wine Co’s Vineaux on da Bayou. Small production wineries will be offered for tasting and purchasing in this casual, outdoor setting near Bayou St. John as a jazz band serenades the guests.

November 12 :: Visit the Ogden Museum for free family day. Enjoy hands-on activities, guided discussion, and family-friendly performances. Food and drink will be available for purchase.

November 12 :: The 2016 New Orleans Heart Walk takes place at Champion Square.

November 12, 13 :: the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation will host the ninth annual Tremé Creole Gumbo Festival.

November 12, 13 :: The Covington Three Rivers Art Festival. Explore quaint Downtown Covington while shopping one of the top art festivals in Louisiana. With 200+ artists from over 20 states, free admission, art, food, music and children’s activities, it’s the perfect event to get a head start on holiday shopping.

November 14 :: Join Touro Nutritionist Julie Fortenberry and Guest Speaker Erin Reho Pelias, owner of ZukaBaby, for an interactive baby food making class from 6pm to 7:30pm. Register for this FREE event here.

November 15 :: W Hotels Worldwide is excited to bring What She Said, a new global speaker series featuring inspiring women from the worlds of fashion, music, design, tech and more to New Orleans.

November 15 :: Vivere-Audubon is hosting a FREE informative night out at NOLA Brewing for couples looking to start or grow their family with fertility specialists Drs. Lindsay Wells and Eric Laborde. All attendees are eligible for a $100 fertility screening and $50 new patient consult with Dr. Wells.

November 19 :: Local artist Kristin Malone will be opening her first Mid City storefront just in time for all of your holiday shopping. This retail location will be stocked with all of your favorite Home Malone art along with carefully curated gifts, art and home decor exclusively handcrafted in the south.

Holiday Camps

Election Day Camp at Vamonos NOLA. Campers experience their own leadership on Election Day as they learn Spanish while participating in leadership and team building activities! $65 a day 8:00am-3:00pm. Before and aftercare available.

November 21- 23 :: Lakeview Creative Arts is hosting a Thanksgiving Camp Children ages 3-10 can play games, head outdoors, make crafts, and have a ton of fun. Cost: $45 per day, 9am-3pm. Pre-registration is required.

Vamonos NOLA is hosting Thanksgiving Camp November 21-25th ( no Camp on Thanksgiving Thursday). 8:00am-3:00pm with before care starting at 7:30am and aftercare ending at 5:30pm. $65 / day 20% discount for the entire session! Kidcam Holiday Camps will host Black Friday Drop & Shop Day Camp at Adventure Quest Laser Tag on November 25th. Campers ages 3-13 from 7:30am-5:30pm.
