Love Swimming

Love Swimming is your best resource for ensuring kids are prepared for camp swimming this summer! Almost everyone’s summers have a swimming component, and as you may or may not know, public pools and beaches can be very chaotic and at times crowded. Love-Swimming-NOMB600x400-Summer2015 (4)Large groups of young children have very different swimming backgrounds, which makes it difficult for counselors and lifeguards to provided adequate supervision. At Love Swimming, we will make sure your children are at the top of their swim game!

During summer, we also offer week-long classes where swimmers can come every weekday for 30 minute lessons (in addition to our year-round weekly classes), which is a great way to accelerate your children’s readiness for wildly fun summer and camp swimming. Our saltwater, indoor pools are warm so that every minute of our lessons are effective (no getting used to the chilly water!). We start learning life saving skills the minute we enter the pool. And our teachers are beyond compare to other programs–just ask around or read our reviews!

  1. Thank you mom bloggers for your website. I wanted to write to you with information that you may be interested in or not.

I wanted to send my child to the New Orleans Glassworks and Printmaking Studio. I have tried to get information the past two years without success and much rudeness. This camp looks amazing so I thought I would try again.

Today was that try. I called yesterday but because it was just after closing the lady named Trish had to go. I understand that. So, I called today and another lady answered the phone and I asked for Trish. She inquired what I wanted with her and I told her I had questions about the camp. She said she could answer them. When I began to ask my first question she said to go to the website to get all the information. I said that I was a little old school and would also like to speak to someone. She then began talking to someone in the background on how to instruct me in using their website…..I know how to do that!

I have been in the education field for many years. Because of that I have had a background check, fingerprinted, etc. I was able to ask if they have any type of policy about screening their employess or artisans. She was highly insulted and told me this studio had been in business thirty or twenty five years and this was not a place for me or my child. And yes,
she hung up on me. I called back twice to say how unprofessional that was and of course it went to voicemail.

I am sure that the artisans that work with the children are great people. I just wanted to know that everyone there had my child and all of the children’s best interest at heart. My son has been to many camps and never once has anyone been offended by that question or any other. They treated me with respect and had no trouble communicating with me on the phone.
It’s a total bummer because it would have been a wonderful experience for my son. He is a great kid. The loss is theirs.

    Sincerely yours,
    Alexis Roser
