6th Annual NOLA ChristmasFest Featuring New Holiday Attractions
NOLA ChristmasFest is one of the largest indoor holiday events on the Gulf Coast.
NOLA ChristmasFest, a 12-day special holiday event based in downtown New Orleans, will display thousands of dazzling lights and dozens Christmas trees decorated by local businesses. This year, 35,000 square feet have been added to accommodate new attractions.
The festivities are set to commence Thursday, December 20, and run through Monday, December 31, 2018, at the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center. The event will open for special hours on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve until 9pm.
Favorite family features are back this year with NEW activities to enjoy!
NOLA ChristmasFest 2018 will once again feature Pay One Price (POP) ticketing for the New Orleans area’s only real ice skating rink and ice slides, holiday characters, amusement rides, themed inflatables, arts and crafts, and much more inside Hall H at the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center along the Mississippi Riverfront. The Gingerbread House exhibit, Kringle Carousel, Winter Whirl, Snowball Fight Area, Snowy Summit Climbing Wall and other favorites will be back under one roof at this year’s NOLA ChristmasFest. In honor of their service, members of the U.S. Military and First Responders enjoy half-priced admission to NOLA ChristmasFest on Fridays.
New this year are Breakfast with Santa events, Bouncy, “the World’s Tallest Snowman,” and Snowzilla Jr., providing attendees with a thrilling slide down a 90’ ramp. Other attractions such as polar golf, curling, and a step-inside snowglobe for selfie photos will be added to NOLA ChristmasFest this year. The expanded floorplan will also provide ample space for family gatherings, birthday parties, and corporate events.
Keepsake photos with Santa will be available for purchase through 3pm Christmas Eve. Face painting, edible cookie decorating, food and drink, and a selection of holiday gifts will also be offered for purchase.
Convenient, nearby parking will be available for visitors and locals alike, and visitors are encouraged to take advantage of very affordable Papa Noel hotel rates to enhance their holiday stays. For more information, please visit www.nolachristmasfest.com.
